During the days 1st-4th July 2019 an intensive course on Applied Statistics took place at National University of Mongolia (NUM) under the ARROW project.

Within this course 63 students belonging to 12 Mongolian HEI were trained by Professor Óscar Felgueiras from the University of Porto, Portugal. The aim of the course was to give the basic tools to use statistics for scientific publications. At this regard the statistics software SPSS was bought (under the project budget) and installed in the participant’s computers. At the end of the course students had to pass a multiple choice exam and answer a survey of satisfaction. On day 4th July representatives from the European Delegation in Mongolia attended the Diplomas ceremony which took place during the Institutional Closure of the ARROW Intermediate meeting.
