U.PORTO has coordinated and has been involved in several projects, namely Erasmus+ (particularly International Credit Mobility, Joint Master Degrees, Capacity Building and Strategic Partnerships) and Erasmus Mundus projects, which together represented a direct management by U.Porto of roughly €58 M and have greatly contributed to reinforce its internationalisation process and generated new cooperation opportunities through the development of actions with HEIs from more than 100 Countries.
U.PORTO has a solid experience in managing and implementing international cooperation projects. As described, it has participated very actively in large-scale programmes, such as Erasmus+, Erasmus Mundus, and TEMPUS, being some of the projects precisely targeting the cooperation and exchange of good practices with Mongolian Universities.
Along these years, U.PORTO has gained significant experience and longlasting links with international counterparts, both as coordinating and partner institution in many EU funded projects. U.PORTO has been working outside the EU borders and extended its cooperation to almost all regions of the world. In this project, U.PORTO will focus on consolidating the links and sharing know-how, elements of the outmost importance for the success of this partnership.
The roles and responsibilities of U.PORTO within this project are described in all WPs. Under WP 3, U.PORTO leads activities “On-Site Applied Statistics Course” and “Grants Writing Workshop”.
